There were some incredible performances over the last few days. Each week we will nominate multiple athletes and allow you to vote for the Runner of the Week. This week's poll will close on October 20th, at 5:00 pm ET.

This Week's Boys Candidates:

Aryan Abbaraju (Unionville) - Won the 2022 Ches-Mont Championship by running away from the field in the second half of the race. Abbaraju earned the championship in 15:51, marking his first individual championship.

Ethan Papa (Blackhawk) - Won at the MAC Championship on a challenging and difficult Settlers Cabin Park. In the back hills he separated himself from the pack and pressed hard to outrun Julian Kletz (Montour).

Samuel Plazio (Kiski) - The freshman earned his first high school win at the Westmoreland County Coaches Championship. Plazio ran 16:41 to win by eight seconds. Thanks partly to his efforts, his team finished in third.

Ryan Pajak (Ringgold) - Nearly broke his own course record at Mingo Creek, running 15:18 to win the Mingo Classic. He dueled it out with Brett Kroboth in the opening mile before surging in the back hills come away with the victory.

Patrick Lawson (Haverford Township) - Earned his third win of the year by running a smart and tactical race at the Central League Championship. Lawson laid back before taking control of the race with 1000 meters to go. Lawson then delivered a brutal finish to win his first Central League title and lead his team to victory.

Timothy Roden (Central Dauphin) - Ran 15:52 to win the Mid Penn Championship. Roden battled with Nick Sloff before closing hard to win the his first Mid Penn XC title.

This Week's Girls Candidates:

Carolyn Tarpley (Downingtown West) - Won the 2022 Ches-Mont Championship and subsequently led her team to the championship as well. Tarpley finished 14 seconds ahead of the next finisher, running 18 - flat, one second off her personal best.

Harley Kletz (Montour) - won the MAC Championship in astute fashion. From the gun, Kletz established herself as the leader and never looked back. She soared to a 19:03 and a 54-second victory. She further, led her team to a championship title.

Eliza Miller (Kiski) - Miller dominated to win the Westmoreland County Championship. Miller ran 18:18 and separated her from the second place finisher by 15 seconds. The time goes down as a season best for Miller.

Jenna Lang (Bethel Park) - Completed her three-peat, winning the Mingo Classic for the third year in-a-row. Lang led wire-to-wire running 18:45 to win by eight seconds.

Camryn Kiser (Chambersburg) - Kiser won her first Mid Penn Championship title by powering ahead of the field and finishing 20-seconds ahead of the next finisher. Kiser led her team to a third place finish.
