Interestingly enough, this is the seventh week of Runner of the Week polls, and the respective 13th and 14th unique winners.
A week after winning the Paul Short Brown race, Cieslak stormed to yet another important victory at the DELCO Championship. She ran 18:42 over the 5K course and managed the field from the front to take the gold home to Havertown.
In doing so, she simultaneously pushed Haverford to the all-important team victory, securing HT's second championship in four years.
Kamden Kramer finished fifth at the Legends Invitational (OH), by running a 15:47 5K. That finish became much more important when the team scores began to roll in. McDowell earned the individual victory by a singular point.
Kramer seperated himself from Mass Perry's Alex Hill in the waning moments of the race. Mass Perry would eventually finish second in the team standings and a switch in positioning between Kramer and Hill would've spelled defeat for McDowell.
