Week 3 of Indoor: Notable Performances

60mH | 55mH

Aiden Dibuono (Somerset Area) started the season with a quick 7.88 55mH personal best in the prelims at the Coaches Hall of Fame Invitational in New York. Dibuono went on to take the win in the finals running 7.93. Both efforts by Dibuono are faster than the PTFCA qualifying standard.

At the same meet, Anthony Collins (Harry S Truman) ran a personal best 7.52 in the 55mh. That mark converts to and ties his season best of 8.20 in the 60mh. That mark of 7.52 currently ranks as the US No. 3.

Keturah Darwon (West Chester Rustin), ran three events, recording personal bests in each. She ran a 8.60 55mh, which currently ranks as the PA No. 4 after conversion.

60m | 55m

Quintin Craig (The Hill School), the returning PAISAA Indoor 55m Champion, ran 6.60 in the 55m last Wednesday.

Freshman Abaas Hunter (Episcopal) ran 7.08 in the 60m dash prelims and eventually win the TFCAofGP Meet #2. That mark moves him up to a PA No.3. It ties the fourth fastest mark by a PA freshman All-TIme.

Ava Alexander (West Chester Rustin) ran 7.26 in the 55m taking 5th in her heat at the Coaches Hall of Fame Invitational besting fellow PA sprinters, Sydney Rush (Somerset) and Nave' Jacobs (Spring Ford). Rush placed 2nd in her heat running 7.42 while Jacobs won her heat running a personal best of 7.58. Alexander's effort ranks her PA No.2 in the 55m and meets the PTFCA qualifying standard early on this season.

Tatum Norris (Susquehanna Community) won the 55m at the Coach Saint Invitational running a solid 7.33 which is just under the PTFCA qualifying standard.

200m

Eyota Bey (Cheltenham) defeated Saige Forbes (Episcopal Academy) at the DVGTCA Meet #2 on Friday. Bey's crushed another PTFCA standard thanks to her 25.58 performance. Forbes finished the race in 26.21. Watch the race video above.

400m

Asad Reese (Imhotep Institute Charter) won TFCAofGP Meet #2 in 51.08. Sahfi Reed (Martin Luther King HS) ran a blazing 49.68 at Ocean Breeze while representing the Delco United Track Club.

800m

Gwen Hamilton (Archbishop Wood) ran well under the PTFCA standard after winning DVGTCA Meet #2 in 2:18.84. This mark is currently a US No. 5.

Aidan McHugh (Episcopal Academy) won the TFCAofGP Meet #2 with a solid 1:59.13 indoor PR.

1600m | Mile

Ellie Keefer (West Chester Rustin) led the way in the mile at the Coaches Hall of Fame Invitational running a quick 5:08.18. This mark is currently a US No. 2. Keefer's teammate Maddie Miller finished 3rd running 5:22.98.

Meanwhile Alli DeLisi (Penn Charter) continued her hot start to the season and ran 5:10 at the DVGCTA meet. She also led Emily Simko (Hatboro Horsham) under 5:20 (5:17).

Michael Woolery (Episcopal Academy) won the mile at the TFCAofGP Meet #2 in a solid 4:27.50 effort. Just behind him was Oliver Michell (Jenkintown) running 4:29.58.

3000m

Brian DiCola (Hatboro Horsham), returning 3000m PTFCA Champion, ran 8:30.14 snagging the PA No. 1 and US No. 1 spots early on this season at the TFCAofGP Meet #2. The time will go down as a PA No. 6 All Time. Matt Castronuovo (Upper Dublin) took 2nd running 8:59.97, just one second off the PTFCA qualifying standard. Watch the full race above.

High Jump

Freshman Niya Jeffers (Chester) cleared an impressive height of 5'-3" to take the win at the DVGTCA Meet #2.

Albert Morton (Coatesville) and Brock Harris (Saint Joseph's Prep) both cleared 6'-3" at the TFCAofGP Meet #2. Morton came out on top, besting Harris for the win. Coatesville boys are currently 1-2 in the event.

Long Jump

Returning PTFCA Champion, Avery Lewis (Friends' Central), leaped her way to a PA No. 1 after jumping 19'-6" at the Bishop Loughlin Games. This mark is currently a US No. 7.

Saige Forbes (Episcopal Academy) wasn't far off, jumping 18'-4.75" at the DVGTCA Meet #2.

Rodrigo Davis (Archbishop Carroll) cleared a lot of distance this weekend ,after jumping 22'-3" hitting the qualifying standard at the TFCAofGP Meet #2.

Pole Vault

Maddy Kelley (Villa Maria Academy), the third-place finisher at last year's PTFCA Championship, vaulted an indoor personal best of 13'-0" to win the DVGTCA Meet #2. This mark is currently a US No. 2.

Shot Put

Alexa Brown (Strath Haven) has the current PA No. 1 and US No. 2 mark after throwing 43'-0.25" at the DVGTCA Meet #2. The returning PTFCA Championship third-place finisher is starting the season off very strong.
