Perhaps inspired by the PA No. 1 Marks set by Roman Catholic, Central Bucks West, Upper Moreland, or the Springfield (Delco) relay teams this past weekend; The Haverford Township Girls' and Boys' teams rallied on Monday night at The Varsity Classic in New York.

The Distance Medley Relay was the night's feature event, and the Haverford Township girls didn't let an opportunity go to waste.

An opening 1200m split of 3:50.45 by Camryn McGeehan got the action going. She handed off to Aubrey Leneweaver, who split a 400m leg of 57.56 before an 800m leg of 2:15.67 from Morgan Elliott. Olivia Cieslak brought the squad home in a 4:55.89 1600m. Individually, those marks would rank third, sixth, seventh, and third in the state.

Haverford Township set the fourth-best mark in Pennsylvania history - an 11:59.54, just a second off State College's No. 3 All-Time set in 1982.
