Avery Lewis Shines, Sets New Millrose Games Record

Avery Lewis (Friends' Central) has dominated this indoor season and she continued to flash at the Millrose Games.

The star athlete shined on the track and the field. Lewis remains undefeated on the season in the long jump and elevated to a win in a new meet record of 19-10.75.

She broke the previous record which was held by Gianna Locci, now a student-athlete at Duke University. The previous mark was 19-6.75.

Lewis is still US No. 3 in long jump and leads PA by over a foot with her season best of 20-7.75.

She also took third place in the 60m with a new season best time of 7.33, solidifying her position as the fastest girl in PA over the distance. This time also makes her the fourth fastest in the nation.

With the PTFCA Indoor Track and Field Championship, look for Lewis to prosper - and potentially give her team a shot at the title.
