Curtis Bayliss of Conestoga set a new meet record in the 200 meter dash with his performance of 23.30 to highlight the boys track events. Evan Ulatowski of Unionville ran 51.56 to win the 400 meters. In the relays, Conestoga ran 1:34.95 to win the 4x200 and West Chester Henderson ran 3:35.31 to win the 4x400 meter relay. In the field events, Chris Nelson of Conestoga won the shot put with a throw of 47-10.50 and Jean-Luc Twyman of Coatesville leaped 6-4 to win the high jump. In the girls events, Emily Cable of Villa Maria Academy won the 400 meters in 59.60 and she jumped 5-2 in the high jump to match Ali Thomas of Phoenixville. Kacie O’Neil of Conestoga won the 800 meters in 2:22.11 and Janie Augustyn of West Chester Henderson won the mile in 5:19.68. In the relays, Downingtown East won the 4x200 in 1:48.86 and Conestoga ran 4:06.80 to win the 4x400. In other field events, Jessica Matsinger of Great Valley won the triple jump with a leap of 34-01.25.

 East Stroudsburg North senior Natasha McLaren had a big day in the jumps, winning the High Jump with a clearance of 5-6 and going 38-9.25 in the Triple Jump. Reading's Imani Brown went 45-04.25 in the boys' TJ. The 4x800's were won by Tower Hill DE in 10:23.70 (Bethlehem Catholic 10:38.98), and Central Dauphin for the boys in 8:33.02.  Emmaus senior Christina Faust captured the 3000 Meter Run in 10:49.58, and Milton Hershey's Brett Kubiak and Dallastown's Chuck Lockwood went one-two for the boys in 9:02.40 and 9:04.07, respectively. |

Quakertown’s James Weiss set a new Division 1 record with his US#6 15-03 pole vault. Nick Scarpello took top state honors in the 3000 meter run with a US#4 time of 8:47.84. Chris Nelson of Conestoga won the shot put for the 2nd time this week, throwing 50-10 and Dan Dreeman of Council Rock South won the 800 meters in 2:01.66. In the relays, Lasalle won the distance medley with a PA#2 10:52.20 and Pennridge won the 4x200 in 1:34.18 to earn PA#5 honors. In division 2, Tom Hopkins of The Haverford School won the long jump with a PA#2 and US#2 mark of 23-09. Richard D’Ambrosio of Malvern Prep was 2nd in 23-05, good enough for US#4 honors. In the relays, Wissahickon beat out Strath Haven to win the distance medley 10:56.54 to 10:57.14 and in the 4x400, Garnet Valley edged Radnor 3:32.03 to 3:32.76. Wallace Spencer of Malvern Prep won the 60 meter hurdles in 8.19.

Penn Hills ran a PA#2 and US#8 1:43.39 to win the 4x200 and ran a PA#2 4:04.73 to win the 4x400. Individually, Imani Wilkerson of Penn Hills won the 200 meters in a PA#2 25.54 and teammate Jordan Lee won the 400 meters in 1:01.23. In the field events, Rachel Serafin threw 42-03 to win the shot put and Brittney Edwards of Baldwin won the long jump in 17-03. For the boys, Brandon Ifill of Penn Hills ran a PA#2 time of 22.46 to win the 200 meters and Nick Gibson of Canon-McMillan won the mile in a PA#4 time of 4:27.29. In the relays, Penn Hills won three out of the four relays, winning the 4x200 in a PA#2 time of 1:32.51, won the distance medley by .02 over Baldwin with a PA#1 time of 10:46.89, and won the 4x400 in 3:36.74. Baldwin won the 4x800 with a time of 8:20.34, good enough for PA#4 honors. In the field events, Mike McClelland of Trinity (7) won the high jump in a PA#2 height of 6-07 and David Humphrey of North Allegheny won the triple jump in a PA#2 mark of 45 feet even. |
