The Golden Wolves Challenge is set for Sunday, January 7th. The event will be streamed on MileSplit, with archived footage being posted after the event HERE. The meet is currently scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM.

Events To Watch:

1. The Girls' 200m Dash and 400m Dash

With Kaddel Howard (Cedar Crest) set to run the 200m, it could be a barn burner in Reading. The phenom finished second at the PTFCA Indoor State Championship in 2023, running a ridiculous 24.59. She ran 25.3 at this meet last year. Also keep an eye on Muhlenberg's Nadly Gyapong.

Howard will also run in the 400m. She is the reigning PTFCA Champion in that event.

2. The Boys' 200m Dash

You'd be foolish to overlook the boys field with three boys seeded in the mid 22's. Logan Maloney (Cardinal O'Hara), Kasai Truitt (Odessa) and Gionni Premici (Central Dauphin East) could make things interesting.

Maloney finished 18th at the PIAA 3A State Championships last outdoor season, while Truitt most recently won the Varsity Silver 200m at the Marine Corps Holiday Classic.

3. The Boys' 400m Dash

Jaden Collins (Cardinal O'Hara) will attempt to break 50 in the 400m for the first time this season. On the flat 200m last year, he ran 49.8 to win the PCL Indoor Championship. Can he run just as quick in his 2024 debut?

Richard Suarez (Louis E. Dieruff), Lucas Price (Dover) and Christopher Grady (Dover) are all seeded sub-53.

4. The Boys' Shot Put

If you want to watch one of the best Shot Putters in the country throw, this is your chance. Brady Mider is slated to throw shot on Sunday. He has already thrown over 60-feet twice this season and he is primed for another big performance this weekend.

Other Events to Keep an Eye On:

The Boys' 60m Hurdles, The Boys' 4x200m Relay, Triple Jump, Shot Put
