PA puts Four in the Top 8 in the VA Showcase Mile

Virginia Beach, Va. - Holding off a late charge, Logan St. John Kletter (Mount Lebanon) surged to the victory in the VA Showcase Invitational Mile in a new nation leading time of 4:48.08.

St. John Kletter went to the lead early and never looked back. Despite late pressure, she closed in a 32.6 to win the Mile run. The time, 4:48.08, is also a PA #9 All-Time Mark.

In the same heat, Wren Kucler and Robin Kucler ran well to finish in the top 10. Wren followed St. John Kletter for most of the race. She was just a second behind her before the last 200m. She finished fourth overall with a sterling time of 4:53.09, a new personal best.

Robin finished in eighth overall with a 4:59.62, beating her personal best in the mile by an astonishing 10 seconds.

Meanwhile in the second fastest heat, Alli DeLisi went to work. The Penn Charter junior powered to the front of the pack early and never looked back. She owned the pace of the second race and made quick work of the field.

Running wire-to-wire DeLisi won her heat in 4:57.57, placing fifth overall.
