PA Preview of Great American XC Festival in Cary NC

This is it. Cedar Cliff\'s boys are hoping for the hightest finish for a PA team in the history of the Great American XC Festival. To be precise, a win. They\'re the 2nd highest ranked team in the Race of Champions, #10 in the US and #2 in the Northeast. Nipping at their heels will be NE#4 Toms River North, who used to be NE#2, and a bunch of other teams. They\'ll be chasing US#6 Mountain View UT, #1SW. They\'ve trained on the new course, and they have a plan. If the varsity runs to their training, they\'ll perform well. Individually Pat Caulfield should challenge for the win, along with Emmaus\' star Sam Luff. In the girls Race of Champions, the Cedar Cliff girls will attempt to return to their Gettysburg Inv form. And former NE#4 St. Basil will try to rebound from a 7th place finish at the Carlisle Inv. Individually, Unionville star Katie Thaeder will test herself in one of the biggest races of her life. In the Seeded Invitational for Boys, three PA teams will compete, including Archbishop Carroll, West Chester Henderson and LaSalle. In the girls Seeded Invitational, West Chester Henderson will make their case for national recognition. Individually, Tamaqua\'s Alexa Griffiths will race against some of the best in the US. In the girls Invitational Blue, the St. Basil B team will race. And in the Small School girls race, Archbishop Carroll will join the battle.
