Rob Rankin, the 2003 PIAA Outdoor Shot Put Champions in AAA, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Rankin was 4th at the adidas Outdoor Championships in June in Raleigh NC, and was named an NSSF All-American. His other final choices for college had been the University of Michigan, Purdue University and Georgia Tech.
