Several PA Foot Locker hopefuls took advantage of the New York Road Runner's Championships on Sunday Nov 14th to get a preview of Van Cortlandt Park. If their trial runs are any indication, they should be in the hunt. Two time AAA champ Craig Miller of Manheim Township finished 4th over all in 15:44. He was 12 seconds behind 2003 Foot Locker Finalist Evan Garber of Washington (the state), who was 15th at the big race. In 5th was former Olympian Steve Spence at 15:52. PA AAA 2nd place finisher Sam Luff of Emmaus took 8th overall in 16:06. Another Foot Locker hopeful is 9th grader Neely Spence, who took 3rd overall for women, running 18:54.
