PA ran exceptionally well at the Bishop Loughlin Games/168th Street Invitational on Sat Dec 18th. The West Catholic girls, minus star senior Nicole Leach who was home taking a scheduled final, ran the best 4x400 of the day, going 3:52.6. Latavia Thomas also ran the 1000m, clocking the 2nd best time of the day, a 2:59.5. In the 55 Hurdles, Nia Ali of West Catholic went 8.63, the 5th best on the day. Carroll\'s Devon Dupont set a Delaware County record in the 300m with her 42.05. She also Long-jumped 17-01. And Tracy Weldon, Friends Central, posted a 43.09 in the 300m dash.
In the boys\' races. Harriton\'s Kevin Baidoo and Perkiomen Valley SR Brian Hurst were both timed in 6.56 for 55m, the 4th best time of the day. Hurst\'s teammate, Mike Muche, went 6.59. Perk Valley SR Mike Carpenter ran a strong 37.54 300, while teammate Alex Graber went 1:30.04 for 600m. The four also teamed to post a 1:35.9 4x200. Archbishop Carroll\'s 4x800 ran the 3rd best time of the day, an 8;13.8, while Carroll\'s John Savoy posted the 5th best 2-mile of the day, a 9:41.9, and teammates Chris Tilger and Ryan Kincade ran well, Tilger posting the 5th best mile of the day, 4:30.41, and Kincade running 2:37.01 for 1000m.
