On Friday, March10, 2000, we plugged in a two-foot ethernet cord in the communications closet at the New York Armory, and PennTrackXC.com was on the internet.
In those first few minutes, we had two page views - one by me, and one by my wife, Gayle. Thanks to you - the athletes - and your coaches, parents, family and friends... we now average over a half-million page views a month (almost a million in May), and the site has become a virtually full-tiime passion.
But without the support of my family - Gayle, Aaron, Courtney and Sarah (and my new cat \"Spikes\"), the site wouldn\'t have survived even its first few years.
So Happy Birthday PennTrackXC.com. Here\'s to reaching our teen years. But first... it\'s wall-to-wall coverage of another National Scholastic Indoor Championships (and Nike Indoor Nationals) of course. Thanks for everything.
