Shippensburg junior Neely Spence won her first NCAA Division II cross country title in convincing fashion in an official 20:41.2 for the 6K snow-covered course in Louisville, Kentucky. She was in a two-way battle from the halfway point, and pulled away with under 2K to go. The lead pack split 3:26 for 1K, and 5:36 for the mile. Shippensburg's women were an official 4th place with 114 points. The Kutztown women were 13th behind Christina Reimer's 42nd place 22.22.9.

In the men's 10K, PSAC showed very well, with Shippensburg 7th with 246 points, and Lock Haven just eight points back with 274 for 11th. Shippensburg had moved into 7th with 2K to go. Edinboro's Scott Anderson was 18th in 31:15.3. Lock Haven frosh Alex Monroe was 32nd in 31:33.2. Ship's Brandon Boyer was the top guy for the team in 38th in 31:37.4.
