This Week's Nominees:
Timothy Leonard, Wilkes-Barre Area 02 (Pennsylvania): Posted a double sprint victory at the WVC Championships with times of 10.45 in the 100 meters and 21.07 in the 200 meters. Won both events decisively, taking the 100 over a field of 24 and the 200 over 20 competitors.
Nick Adams, Hopewell 07 (Pennsylvania): Won the triple jump at the Northern Area Last Chance meet with a leap of 52-2, clearing the field of 17 competitors by a wide margin.
Frank Bediako, Bensalem 01 (Pennsylvania): Turned in a state-leading 21.25 in the 200 meters while sweeping the sprints and long jump at the Suburban One League Patriot Division Championships. Also won the long jump with a mark of 24-2.5 and took the 100 meters in 10.63.
Declan Gallagher, Owen J. Roberts 01 (Pennsylvania): Cleared 6-10.25 to win the high jump at the Pioneer Athletic Conference Championship, topping a field of 10 competitors.
Ethan Reed, Southern Columbia 04 (Pennsylvania): Launched the javelin 216-9 to win at Southern Columbia at Bloomsburg, outdistancing a field of seven throwers.
