In the first \"Battle of West Chester\", it was former state champs Henderson that got the better of NTN Northeast #7 East at Oakbourne Park, Henderson\'s home course. East got seven runners across before Henderson\'s 5th, but in the tight scoring of a dual meet, that 5th was across just in time to edge East by one point, 28-29. Duriel Hardy of East, set a course record of 15:53.
