Angie Hartz of Chartiers Valley ran 14.87 to win the 100 meter hurdles and 47.23 to win the 300 hurdles. Krista Kuss of Baldwin ran a PA#3 time of 12.21 to win the 100 meter dash and ran 25.38 to win the 200 meter dash (PA#2 24.97 prelims). Margo Malone of North Hills won the 1600 (5:02.69, PA#3) and the 3200 meter runs (11:11.83, PA#8). Teammmate Abby O'Connell ran a PA#2 time of 56.81 to win the 400 meter dash. Paige Rittleman of Butler and Shannon Powell of Shaler Area both cleared 5-4 in the high jump. Lexie Frost of Butler jumped 36-10 to win the triple jump (PA#4).
For the boys, Derek Durand of Freeport Area ran 14.87 to win the 110 hurdles. Troy McCune tied for PA#2 in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.00. Zach Hebda (9:30.22, PA#2) and Joe Kush (9:36.55) of North Hills gave everyone a flashback of what happened during cross country season with their 1-2 finish in the 3200 meter run. Mitch Fawcett of Upper St Clair ran a PA#7 time of 22.33 to win the 200 meter dash. Alex Moran of Mount Lebanon ran a PA#3 time of 4:19.97 to win the 1600 meter run. Alex McCune of North Hills won the long jump with a T-PA#6 mark of 22-2. Ian Welsh of Pittsburgh Central Catholic won the triple jump with a PA#2 mark of 47-5.

Notre Dame ran a state leading time in the 4x800 meter relay, winning in a time of9:23.48. Susan Pancoast of Unionville won the discus (118-6) and the javelin (119 feet even)
For the boys, Luke Lefebure of West Chester Henderson ran a PA#2 time of 1:54.85 to win the 800 meter run. Chris Campbell of Council Rock North ran a PA#2 time of his own, winning the 1600 meters in 4:19.93. David Waterman of Germantown Friends ran 9:41.50 to win the 3200 meter run. Paul Wahlman of Council Rock North ran a PA#6 time of 39.91 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Downingtown West ran 43.28 to win the 4x100 meter relay. Abington went 1-2 in the 4x800 meter relay, with bothteams running under 8 minutes. Both relays are in the PA top 3. Brent Charlton of Downingtown West won the long jump (22-10, PA#3) and the triple jump (45 feet even, PA#7).

Shelley Black of James M Coughlin made her outdoor debut and ran an amazing first race in the calm of the wild rain storm that went through all of PA on Saturday. Because of the weather, she, like most of the competitors, only ran one of her scheduled events, but in the AAA 100 meter hurdles, she ran a state leading (US#7) 13.99 right out the gate! Danielle Smith of Whitehall ran 12.34 to win the 100 meter dash (T-PA#3). Sarah Helgeson of Hempfield (3) ran 58.17 to win the AAA 400 meter dash. Central Dauphin East ran 49.40 to win the AAA 4x100 meter relay. Kathleen McPhillips of Carlisle cleared 12 feet to win the pole vault and won the AAA triple jump with a PA#5 mark of 36-05.50. Ramonia Benitez of Pocono Mountain West won the AAA long jump with a PA#2 mark of 17-11.25. Lauren Kenney of State College improved her PA#2 mark in the javelin with a winning throw of 147-10. Margo Britton of Dallastown won the AAA shot put with a PA#4 mark of 41-6.
In AA girls, Aubree Ray of Middletown Area won the discus with a PA#2 mark of 131-6. Lauren Ellsworth of Lackawanna Township ran 59.27 to win the 400 meter dash.
In AAA boys, T.J Elliot of Central Dauphin East ran a PA#4 time of 11.04 to win the 100 meters. Alex Shisler of State College moved up to PA#6 in the 400 meter dash with a winning time of 49.86. Alex Galli of Cedar Crest ran a PA#7 time of 4:26.16 to win the 1600 meter run. Jacob Hensh of Laurel Higlands became the 3rd boy this year to clear 15 feet this spring in the pole vault with his 15 foot winning clearance. Kyle Long threw 185 feet even to win the discus. Tom Lang of Pope John Paul II threw 187-6 to win the javelin.
In AA boys, Charles Wilson of Tyrone Area cleared 6-6 to win the high jump. Mike Recla of Bloomsburg improved his PA#3 mark in the shot put with a winning throw of 55-5.50. Derek Nothstein of Central threw 185-1 to win the javelin.
Due to lightning during the 3:00 hour of the meet, the meet was stopped without the five running events and a few field events not being contested

Wissahickon won four of the track relays including the 4x1600 meter relay in a time of 18:25.9 while Upper Dublin won four of the field relays, including all three throws.
For the girls, Cheltenham won five of the track relays, including two district qualifying performances in the 4x100 (50.0) and 4x800 meter relays (9:50.3) while Upper Merion won all three throwing relays.
Due to the rain and thunderstorms, the last two running events were not contested.

Ryan Hart of Downingtown East threw 153-1 to earn the best mark in the discus relay. Ryan Brumfield of Owen J Roberts had the best long jump on the day with his mark of 21-9. For the girls, Madeline Eustache of Upper Darby jumped 17-6 to record the best long jump on the day. Jessica Matsinger of host Great Valley jumped 34-4 to earn the best triple jump mark.
On the track, Great Valley boys ran a PA#3 time of 10:29.65 to win the distance medley relay and won the rain shortened 4x400 meter relay in 3:37.73. Glen Mills ran 1:31.00 to win the 4x200 meter relay. For the girls, Strath Haven won the 4x800 meter relay in a PA#5 of 9:33.31 and came out on top in the 5 team 4x400 meter relay in 4:10.68. For the girls, Jackie Glanfield of Garnet Valley ran 2:28.99 to win the 800 meter run. Teammate Emily Wenger finished 3rd in the 300 hurdles with a time of 46.56. Emerald Walden of Plymouth Whitemarsh ran a PA#2 time of 14.81 to win the 100 meter hurdles. Nicole Gratsy of Abington ran a PA#7 time of 12.28 to win the 100 meter dash. Imani Harris-Quillen of Swenson ran a PA#8 time of 57.49 to win the 400 meter dash. In the 4x100 meter relay, the top five finished in the top eight in PA so far this season, with Norristown winning in a state leading time of 48.45. Kayla Coley of Cheltenham (45.67) and Francine Marquis (46.77) of Cheltenham finished 1-2 in the 300 meter hurdles. They also ran a PA#4 time of 3:59.96 to win the 4x400 meter relay.

For the boys, Matt Gilmore of Cheltenham became the first 400 meter runner under 49 seconds this season with his winning time of 48.74. Tyler Gallen of Cardinal O'Hara finished 2nd with a PA#2 time of 49.07. Eric Futch of Penn Wood continued his winning and consistent ways, winning the 110 meter hurdles (14.76) and 300 meter hurdles (38.35). Tariq Lovelace of Delaware Valley Charter won the 100 (11.30) and 200 meter dashes (23.01). West Chester Henderson ran a PA#4 time of 8:01.26 to win the 4x800 meter relay. Haneef Hardy of Swenson ran a PA#4 time of 1:55.39 to win the 800 meter run. Sam Hibbs of Hatboro Horsham ran an opening 4:41 1600 meter split on the way to a PA#2 time of 9:29.74 to win the 3200 meter run. Abington ran 3:19.93 with help from a Will Taylor 47.5 anchor split to win the 4x400 meter relay and earn PA#3 honors. Terrence Edwards of Norristown threw a new state leading mark of 56-3 to win the shot put. Chazz Wilks of Cardinal O'Hara threw 158-8 to win the discus.

Darrell Johnson of Chester ran a PA#7 time of 39.77 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Derrick Dawson of Ridley cleared a state leading height of 6-8 to win the high jump. Marple Newtown's Andrew Brandt and Markeece Askew of Glen Mills both cleared 6-6. Dawson also won the triple jump with a mark of 42-9. Troy Margus of Radnor cleared 14 feet even to win the pole vault.
For the girls, Lydia Ali of Radnor won the 100 (12.31, PA#8) and 200 meter dashes (26.25). Katie Balmer of Strath Haven ran 5:14.42 to win the 1600 meter run. Emily Wenger of Garnet Valley won the 300 meter hurdles with a PA#3 time of 45.58. Penncrest ran a PA#4 time of 49.64 to win the 4x100 meter relay.
