Lexi Stevenson of Bethel Park won the girls shot put with a PA#4 mark of 37-6. Lexi Masterson of Hempfield cleared 11 feet to win the pole vault. For the boys, Max Adams of Hempfield threw 50-7 to win the shot put and teammates Zach Sinclair and Bobby Monteparte cleared 12 feet in the pole vault.

For the girls, the Hickory 1-2 combination of Jen Neider (43-3.50) and Taylor Woods (40-3) went 1-2 in the shot put and their performances are 1-2 in the state. Wilmington senior Alexis King long-jumped a PA#5 17-4. Kennedy Weisner of Elk County Catholic ran 5:11.0 to win the 1600 meter run. Larissa Debich of Hempfield cleared 11-6 to win the pole vault.

Bradford senior David Reinhardt was runner-up in the shot put with a PA#11 51-0 effort. Temmate Natalie Frisina was 2nd in her event, going 34-01. Grove City senior Eliza Lowe won th 60 meter hurdles in 9.55 (tie PA#9) and captured 2nd in the 400 in 1:03.31. Villa Maria frosh Alison Carson won the 3200 meter run with her 12:37.02.

In Friday action, Great Valley boys took over the state lead in the distance medley relay with a 6th place finish in the championship race in 10:27.56 (Matt Willig 3:19.4, Demetrius McCary 51.7, Billy Wolffe 1:59.5, Ned Willig 4:16.5). The Great Vally girls ran a PA#8 time of 12:54.56 to finish 5th in the under 600 student race. Gwynedd Mercy Academy girls won the under 600 student 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:10.66.

On Saturday, Ned Willig of Great Valley won the 800 meter run in a STATE RECORD and new national leading time of 1:51.25 (54.7, 56.6)! His performance is the 11th fastest all time and Willig is the 8th fastest high school runner at that distance! Emma Keenan regained her US#2 ranking in the 800 meter run with a winning time of 2:12.26! Elise Claffey of Great Valley ran 5:15.42 to finish 4th in her heat of the mile.

Vinny Todaro of Big Spring ran 4:30.51 to win the 1600 meter run. Bobby Smutsky of Northern ran 23.00 to win the 200 meter dash. Brendan Shearn of North Schuylkill ran 9:47.23 to win the 3200 meter run. Shawn Mayer of Palmyra cleared 14-6 to win the pole vault.
For the girls, Courtney McCartney of Selinsgrove threw 37-6 to win the shot put and Rose Roesler of Carlisle won the 55 meter dash (7.58), the 200 meter dash (27.80) and the long jump (15-10).
Because of snow, the Dickinson College HS meet scheduled for Saturday, January 21, has been postponed two hours to 11 AM.

Pennsbury's boys 4x200 meter relay team finished 2nd in the event with a PA#8 time of 1:32.3. They also ran 3:31.9 in the 4x400 meter relay to earn another 2nd place finish. Archbishop Ryan won the triple jump relay with a combined mark of 84- 6.50. For the girls, Central Bucks East ran 1:46.8 to win the 4x200 meter relay. Council Rock South finished 2nd in a PA#6 time of 1:47.5, and they won the pole vault relay with a combined mark of 21-3. Pennsbury won both the 4x800 (9:46.4) and distance medley relays (PA#8 12:47.0).

Swenson girls finished 2nd in the 4x200 meter preliminary heats with a time of 1:42.95! They finished 3rd in the final with a US#4 time of 1:42.05! Ce'Aira Brown of Overbrook finished 3rd in the invitational 400 with a state leading and US#6 time of 56.44! Strath Haven girls finished 9th in the same event with a PA#5 time of 1:47.40, while Paul Robeson, Overbrook ran T-PA#7 times of 1:47.70. Swenson girls also finished 3rd in the shuttle hurdle relay with a time of 34.50, with Strath Haven finishing 5th in 35.81. Strath Haven finished 2nd in the 4x800 meter relay with a state leading and US#5time of 9:21.84! Hannah Grossman of Strath Haven finished 5th in the invitational mile with a PA#3 time of 4:59.78. Paul Robeson finished 2nd in the 4x400 meter relay with a PA#2 time of 3:59.52.

Upper Darby finished 2nd in the shuttle hurdle relay in 31.02. Wissahickon finished 3rd in the 4x400 meter relay with a PA#4 time of 3:25.65. Swenson was 9th with a PA#6 time of 3:27.61. Paul RObeson was 11th with a PA#7 time of 3:28.29. Cardinal O'Hara finished 8th in the 4x800 meter relay with a PA#4 time of 8:12.52. Paul Robeson was 10th with a PA#7 time of 8:15.77.
In the field events, Paduman Singh of Upper Darby had the best mark in the shot put with a throw of 58 feet even, and led his team to the gold medal with a mark of 96-11.50.. Harley Lacroix of Cheltenham had the 2nd best triple jump performance with a mark of 44-3.75, leading his team to a 2nd place finish. Diamond Hodge of Girls High had the 2nd best mark in the girls triple jump with a mark of 36-7.50, leading her team to a 3rd place finish.
The Millrose Mile fields were announced for the annual event on Saturday February 11, which will be held at the Armory for the first time. Congratulations to Tori Gerlach of Pennridge, Maria Seykora of Notre Dame, and Ned Willig of Great Valley for earning bids for the race!

In the shot put, it was Perkiomen Valley's Ezra Ranco for the boys with a put of 44-10, while teammate Macey Tanseco went 35-6 for the girls.
