Training Details: OFF OFF OFF

Friday - March 10th, 2006--YAY, I GET TO RUN TOMORROW...FIIIINNNAAALLLLLYYYY

Training Details: OFF, BUT I GET TO RUN TOMORROW! YAAAAAAAAY!

Man, this past week and a half has SUCKED! I have been so antsy to do all the things I like to do. I actually LIKE to do ab stuff now so I missed that! Well, now my body is rested and completely recoverd and I am sure that this break was good for the muscles...Since I had to take so much time off, Worlds is a big NO. If I had only been sick for 3 days or so, it would have been a different story, but oh well, what can you do. This is, of course, a big disappointment for me, but I can't let it get me down...EVEN though this has been my second big disappointment so far that I have moved here to Switzerland. But this is how the cookie crumbled, so they say so I am picking up the crumbs and eating them right now and using it as motivation. I am super motivated for my track season at this point because if I can bust out a SOLID 10k, I won't care! hahaha ! Now that I am healthy, it's time to bump the miles back up, get my two workouts in a week and just get back into the flow of things. It really sucks about Cross Country Worlds because I was really pumped about them, but again, so it goes and so I take it!
Even though I had this disappointment, I am happy right now because I got this job that I really, really wanted and I am really excited about it! I am an English teacher for little kids!!! For those who know me, you KNOW how much I love kids! I get along with them because I don't really care about being a kid with them. I will dance and sing with them, even if there are adults around or people my age and it doesn't matter to me. I really love to plan activities for the little ones and teach them in a way that will really be effective for them so they can take a lot of of the class. I may be a 'overqualified' for this type of thing, but to me, it makes me happy and that is what is important to me.
