4/6 - William Tennent captures the team title with 109 points.

Council Rock Kiwanis

For those who wanted individual events mixed with their relays, the other windy and cold spot was eastern Bucks County at Council Rock. The unusual format featured a 1500, 3000 and 5000. But it was the shorter distances where close races abounded. Behind wins in the 400, 110 Hurdles, Sprint Medley, High Jump and Discus, William Tennent captured the team title with 109 points. Individually, the 400 was the closest race of the day as Troy Roberson, Tennent, and Abington's Lester Caesar were both clocked in hand-times of 48.2, with Roberson getting the edge. Only .1 in the 100, .2 in the 200 and .6 in the 800 separated the top two finishers. In the Relays, Abington took both the 4x400 (3:23.1) and 4x800 (8:20.8).
