Dan Mays and Ray Bobrownicki won four individual events for Westtown.
Selinsgrove's Charity Payne and North Penn's Jessica Johnson are the only two girls over 44'. Payne posted her PA#2 mark at her district meet, going 44-00.75 to win by over 7'.
Tyler Fedeli, Altoona, became the first PA athlete over 7' in several years, matching that height, while also taking the Long Jump with a leap of 21-09.00.
Windber's Jeff Kiss captured two titles (110 H:14.59 & 300 H:40.06) and was 2nd to McConnellsburg's Josh Liniger (20-11.50/44-03.50) in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump with his 20-05.75 and 43-07.50 performances.
Two of the state's top female pole vaulters come from D11, and they performed up to expectations. Easton's Courtney Regan set a district record, going 11-09.

Wednesday, May 15, 2002 - District 2 AA @ North Pocono High School - Gina Volpicelli of Hanover, captured three District championships, winning the 200 in 26.84, the 400 in 1:00.97, and the 300 Hurdles in 47.60; and was 2nd in the 100 Hurdles in 16.15.
Sam Bair, Shaler, tuned up for states by focusing on the 1600. His 4:12.45 set a meet record.
The AA teams in District 7 (the counties surrounding Pittsburgh) got a jump on the rest of the state, getting a week and a half of rest before States. Ashley Kaufman of Freedom tuned up for the Javelin competition with a throw of 135-03.
Charity Payne of Selinsgrove, continued to improve her season's best, winning the Shot Put with a throw of 43-11.25.
Wissahickon's Erin Franklin worked a nice double win, taking the 3200 in a strong 10:54.77, and the 1600 in 5:11.89.
Kim Malcolm of Villa Maria, closed out her league season with three wins, going 2:28.4, 5:18.8 and 11:35.7.
Westtown jump ace Ray Bobrownicki captured three first place finishes, winning the Long Jump (21-02), the Triple Jump (43-09) and the High Jump (6-04).
Corey Rogers of Pottsgrove, captured both the 1600 (4:25.46) and the 3200 (9:43.65).
Gordon Hall and Patrick Link of Warwick, went one-two in the 800 at 1:56.0 and 1:56.4, respectively. Then they teamed with Gallagher and Hess to lead Warwick to a 7:56.7 4x800.
