78 teams with more than 1200 athletes on an unsettled full day (9-6) at Shippensburg University. In AA girls, Jessica Kratzer took the Discus 9114-03) and the Shot Put 38-00.50), and placed 5th in the Javelin (109-07). Kelly Hoover of Bald Eagle, took the Jav with a throw of 139-05. Christina Burnett took the LJ (17-02) and the Triple Jump (35-05). In AAA girls, Harrisburg's Dominique Darden, coming off a week lost to the flu, won three individual events, taking the 100 Hurdles in 15:05, the 300 Hurdles in 45.52, and the 200 in 24.70. Manheim Township, always strong in the 3200 relay, went 9:32.70 on a 2;18 split by their anchor. In the Shot Put, Charity Payne, Selinsgrove, won with a throw of 42-02.25. In Boys' AA, Winder's Jeff Kiss won three events, taking the 110 Hurdles in 14.56, the 300 Hurdles in 40.30, and the Triple Jump in 43-10.75. Caleb Fritz of Northwest Area, captured the 1600 in 4:25.96 and the 800 in 1:58.71. Tyler Fedeli of Altoona, made it look easy (it isn't) in the High Jump, going 6-08 to win byi 4 inches. Teammate Brian Johnston won the 110 Hurdles (14.82) and the 300 Hurdles (39.03). In the sprints, Jaren Hayes of Cedar Crest (10.77) and Justin Kiscadden of Hempfield (3) (21.80, were making noise in the 100 and 200, respectively.
