Freedom's Ashley Kaufmann improved her state-leading Javelin mark by over six feet with a toss of 150.09. The Freedom girls took the 4x100 (51.34) and the 4x400 (4:14.6). State high jumpers have a new name to follow with Tyrone Goosby of Beaver Falls, who cleared 6-8 to beat West Allegheny's Chris Nardi by two inches. Running at his home track, Mars' Brad Mueller doubled in the two short sprints, taking the 100 in 11.04 and 22.34 respectively. In the distances, Zack Dorman of West Allegheny captured the 1600 in 4:29.6 and the 3200 in 9:57.2.
