12/14 - Hatboro-Horsham shatters school record in DMR

Hatboro-Horsham had been looking to break their school record in the DMR. It was over 13 minutes. Well, they shattered it, going 12:42.2 with the squad of Anne Baker, Nicole Murphy, Caitlin Klaas, and Janine Ricci.William Penn worked in junior ShantiaByrd to the mix with the top 4x400, and she delivered, splitting :63 to help Christina Smith (58.7), KandisWorthington (63.0), and JuanitaBroaddus (56.6) (left) to 4:00.4 for a good start for the season. West Catholic's 1:45.8 by Tanisha Cortes, Latavia Thomas, Alecia Jackson and Nicole Leach took first, but they were pushed by Simon Gratz, which finished in 1:47.6. Juanita Broaddus switched to the 55 Hurdles for a meet, and it was with somewhat predictable results, getting the top spot in 8.4. Boyertown sophomore Natalie Miller high jumped 5-04.
