AAA cross country state champion Courtney Smith of Unionville made her 2012-13 track season debut and picked up right where she left off in November. She won the 3000 meter run in a US#4 time of 10:04.19 and was 44 seconds ahead of 2nd place! Natalie Deacon of West Chester Henderson won the 800 meter run in a PA#3 time of 2:17.86. Teammate Stephanie Aldrich ran 5:16.86 to win the mile run. Great Valley took the state lead in the 4x800 meter relay with a US#4 time of 9:33.58. Imani Harris-Quillen finished 4th in the 300 meter dash with a time of 41.14. Tichina Rhodes ran 1:19.49 in the 500 meter run to finish 8th. Emma Keenan of Gwynedd Mercy Academy won the 800 meter run for the 2nd straight year at this meet with a time of 2:16.49.
