Hempfield Area (7) junior Max Adams improved his PA#7 shot put by over two feet with a put of 55-7, which moved him into PA#4. Teammate and senior Rachel Fyalkowski was close to here PA#5 shot put mark with an effort of 38-10. Junior Bridget Guy of Hempfield matched her season-best of 11 in the pole vault, and was joined at that height by teammate, senior Lexi Masterson. They are in a log-jam in the state rankings, all in the top ten.

2012 PIAA Outdoor 1600m Runners-Up Kennedy Weisner of Elk County Catholic and Marissa Sheva of Pennridge went one-two with auto-qualifiers for the 2013 Millrose Games, going 4:54.18 and 4:54.90, respectively. 2012 AAA 1600 champion Sara Sargent was a close 3rd in 4:55.87 and could receive an invite to the prestigious meet on February 16th.

Great Valley girls finished 3rd in the championship distance medley relay with a state leading and US#3 time of 12:10.30. West Chester Henderson finished 5th in the same race in a PA#2 and US#5 time of 12:13.31! Great Valley also finished 2nd in the under 600 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:35.41. Germantown Friends finished 2nd in the under 600 distance medley relay with a PA#5 time of 12:37.48. Bonner Prendie finished 5th in 13:04.91. Downingtown West finished 6th in the over 600 distance medley relay with a time of 12:56.09 and finished 5th in the over 600 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:48.11.
For the boys, West Chester Henderson finished 2nd in the distance medley relay with a state leading and US#5 time of 10:22.91! Downingtown East finished 4th in the over 600 4x800 meter relay with a PA#2 time of 8:10.25. Germantown Friends finished 2nd in the under 600 4x800 meter relay with a PA#5 time of 8:16.91. West Chester Henderson finished 4th with a PA#7 time of 8:19.45. Great Valley finished 8th in 8:33.66 and also added a 4th place in the 400-600 4x400 meter relay in 3:37.99. Bonner Prendie finished 2nd in the under 600 distance medley relay in a PA#4 time of 10:41.58. Great Valley was 5th in 10:52.61. Downingtown West was 2nd in the over 600 distance medley relay with a PA#3 time of 10:36.10. Hempfield (3) finished 3rd in the over 600 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:34.72.
Day 2
Anna Willig of Great Valley ran a PA#4 time of 10:21.80 to finish 11th in the Championship 3000 meter run ahead of 12th place and PA#7 Eliza Lukens-Day of Germantown Friends (10:23.54). Stephanie Aldrich of West Chester Henderson ran a PA#5 time of 5:09.37 in the mile to finish 4th. Sarah Hipwell (PA#2 2:17.79) and Nicole Hanjik (PA#5 2:18.04) of Great Valley and Natalie Deacon of West Chester Henderson (PA#6 2:18.07) finished 7-8-9 in the 800 meter run.
For the boys, the 3000 meter run was given another major shake up with some phenomenal performances. Tony Russell of West Chester Henderson finished 2nd in the Championship 3000 meter run with a state leading and US#3 time of 8:38.01!

Pennridge set a meet record in the 4x400 meter relay with a state leading and US#3 time of 3:20.42. Penncrest was 2nd in a PA#5 time of 3:25.97 to finish 2nd.
