2014 BLACK HILLS CONFERENCE INVITATIONAL
FRIDAY MAY 2nd, 2014 (3:00 PM)
1. This meet is open to boys and girls teams.
2. Entries due April 29th, 2014 by 11:59pm

5. Individual awards for 1st through 3rd place.
6. Team scoring 10-8-6-4-2-1
7. Coaches meeting is at 2:30 and field events start at 3:00. Track events start at 3:15
8. Each team is required to furnish 2-3 coaches to assist with the meet.
9. Use 3/16 spike or less
10. Three (3) athletes per school per event. Four (4) events per athlete. (1) relay team per school.
11. A concession stand will be available.
12. A trainer will be available.
13. No adding athletes the day of the meet. (Scratches & Substitution Only)
14. 100 meter dash (NO ADDS or SUBSTITUTION)
15. No Preliminary Heats in the 100/110 Hurdles,100 meter dash or 200 meter dash
16. Dual Meet order of events with Boys followed by Girls
17. Every event is a Final with the top 6 seeds in the last heat of sprints, hurdles and relays (slower heats can still medal and place)
18. No locker room facilities will be available.
19. Pole vault will not be contested.
20. Chalk only on the track and jumping areas.
21. No tents inside the track.
22. 1 MVP Track for Boys & Girls and Team Champion & Team Runner up for Boys and Girls. All awards will be distributed following event.
23. Starting blocks will be provided.
24. Times will not be rounded.
25. Please indicate the best time of each individual in the running/jumping/throwing events for the purpose of setting up the heats.
26. Athlete checks in: track-bullpen on the field, field at the event.
27. Co-ed relay is FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORE ONLY! (100 girl-100 girl-200 boy- 400 boy)

Shot Put, Discus, and Javelin
everyone will receive 1 legal throw, after that we will have a cut off line.
There will be a cone set up with the 7th best throw in order to move your marker you must throw beyond the 6th place person.
Worker Assignments
(Every team must bring 2 people to work the events listed below, so we could run a smooth efficient meet. The workers could be a Parent, Coach, Student or Team Manager. Failure to bring workers will results in holding medals from your athletes.)
