*The Travis Trail, despite on-going construction projects will remain exactly 5000 meters in length. It is clearly marked with signs throughout. The course is entirely mowed grass and offers a mixture of flat and hill running. The start offers open, unobstructed running for several hundred meters with excellent mobility throughout the entire course. The course is runnable even in most extremely adverse weather conditions as evidenced in 2018! It provides an excellent surface for spikes or flats. It is also an excellent spectator course and offers easy race visibility for well over 4000 of 5000 meters. Recent changes over the past several years have only opened up even MORE of the course to be easily watched. The course has been the site of NCAA regional and national cross country finals. It has been described by an out-of-state coach from a nationally ranked team as one of the top high school courses in the United States.

*Varsity teams will consist of 7 runners, JV teams will consist of 9th-12th grade runners who are not legitimate top 5 varsity caliber runners with unlimited entries.

*Challenge races will be the final races of the day.

*Seniors WILL continue to be permitted to run in the JV races if they are truly JV runners.

*The JV BOYS race will remain split into two separate competitive races, but a breakdown so Freshmen boys will have their own race, with other JV runners of all grades in the other. Coaches may choose to run their freshmen up in order to get a team score in the JV race if they like, but they would not be eligible to win the 9th grade trophy that will go to the winner of the Freshmen boys race.

*Formal awards ceremony for award winners in the Challenge races at 1:30PM in the Stadium. All other awards may be picked up at the awards tent following official results of each race. No awards will be mailed.

Challenge Races- The challenge races will continue to feature top-ranked teams, and individuals from PA and other states. AAA Pennsylvania teams should be in the Challenge race unless they have received approval from the Meet Director. JV Races- Team trophies to the top-3 JV teams in both of the BOYS JV races and 5 medals for each scoring member of the placing teams. Team trophies to top-5 JV teams in the GIRLS JV race and 5 medals for each scoring member of the placing teams.
