Scott Catone of St. Francis University reports that Tom Carey, Altoona HS grad is undefeated in the 35lb Weight Throw this season.
Conestoga coach Ryan Comstock reports that Matt Sauls, who ran for Neshaminy and graduated in 1997, and had a HS PR of 1:59 (couldnt even qualify for districts), finished 4th in the 800 with a 1:51.91. Matt is now training with the Nike Farm Team. He was a three-time All-American at Lock Haven and was the 1999 DII National 800m Champ. Alex Brasington, who will attend Upper Dublin High School in the fall of 2005, posted the best 3000m timer of 2004 Indoor in PA this year, a 10:09.06 at a Penn State college meet 1/31/04.
