What to watch for Saturday (1/16): Yale, Dickinson #2, Leb Val, TFC #4

Girls: Emily Stauffer of Cocalico has been under-the-radar for most of the season, but one of the state's top throwers will return to action this weekend to compete in the shot put.

In the sprints, Coughlin's Tamar Bourdeau is entered in both the 200 meters and 55 meter hurdles

Boys: The Central Dauphin East sprint combo will return, looking to go after a 4x200 it appears. The CD East trio of Shyheim Brown, Amin Amin and Emmanuel Niang compete in the 55 meter dash. Those three will return in the 200 meters, joined by teammate Aaron Arp. In the 400, CD East's Luke Everidge will lead the field.

This weekend will give us our first indoor look at Nathan Henderson of JP McCaskey, who will be favored in both the 800m and 1600m. In the 3000 meters, Wilson (3)'s Jacob Underwood will open up.

In the high jump, the event's top returner headed into the season, Chris Petraskie of Shamokin Area, will compete for the first time this season. Petraskie will also compete in the triple jump.
