What to watch for (1/30 WKND): TSTCA, Ocean Breeze, DVG #6, TFC #7, Susquehanna

PERFORMANCE LIST

BOYS: In the field, State College's Kellin Valentine returns after a pair of individual titles in the long jump and triple jump. e'll be competing in both at Susquehanna. He'll face some competition in both from outdoor AAA champion DeShawn Millington of Carlisle, who is on the performance list. This would be Millington's season debut. Keep an eye out for Western Wayne's Alex Long in the jumps.

In the shot put, Chamberburg's Kelton Chastulik will look to improve on his PA#8 53-1. In the pole vault, the State College duo of Lucas Gray and Griffin Thompson will be favored. The high jump should be good as well, with Williamsport's Qayyim Ali and Chris Petraskie of Shamokin leading the way.

State College will be up there in the relays, surely with Central Dauphin East looking to challenge.

In the 60m dash, State College's Tristan Damon with do battle with Central Dauphin East's Shyheim Brown and Central Dauphin's Zach Wise. Damon will then race Wise, along with CD East's Aaron Arp and Amin Amin in the 200 meters. 

Mount Carmel's David Fletcher looks like he'll be doubling in the 800 and mile. Carlisle's Matt Wisner is on the performance list for the mile, but he'll be at Ocean Breeze on Saturday, so it's unknown if he'll try for both. Meanwhile, Unionville's Kent Hall, who ran a fast mile right after his breakout cross country season, returns, racing the 800. The 3000 meters features Selinsgrove's Brody Beiler and Gettysburg's Dan Filler.

GIRLS: State's College's Veronika Karpenko will look to keep up his solid indoor season. She's entered in both the long and triple jumps. Cedar Cliff's Dazjanique Williams will contest the long jump. Williams is also entered in the high jump. Dallas' Katie Kravitsky is on the performance list as well. She was fourth in the state indoors last year as has yet to appear this season.

Harrisburg's Aalexis Berry will run both the 60m hurdles and 60m dash. 

The entries for the mile include Pennsbury's Mary Webb and Meri Twomey, Carlisle's Maddie Kole, and Chambersburg's Abby Yourkavitch for what should be a competitive race. The 800 also has Yourkavitch. Unionville's Anna Juul and Kacie Breeding will make their returns to the track as well. Pennsbury's Olivia Sargent is entered in the mile, along with Dallas' Ally Rome.
