Hickory's Heather Grober was already having a great season heading into the District 10 Championships, but the junior pulled out a huge PR of 42.94, bypassing the 43 second range all together. Now Grober has made herself the favorite in the AA intermediate hurdles.

Grober's toughest competition will come from fellow westerner Summer Thorpe of Sewickley. Thorpe, a senior, won the District 7 championship in the event with a time of 43.86. The race will likely come down to those two.

Hughesville's Heather Merrifield, Pine Grove's Maddie Frew, and Susquehanna Community's Skyla Wilson will be seeking the upset.
