AACA Championships Recap
Country Day of the Scared Heart took the first three spots, but it wasn't enough to fend off Nazareth Academy that picked up a surprise team win at the AACA Championships at Tyler Park in Newtown.
Kayleigh Doyle of Country Day of the Sacred Heart took the win in 19:23 to defeat teammate and reigning meet champion Emma Seifried. Doyle is just a freshman. Emma Seifried was second while her sister, Hannah Seifried was third.
Villa Joseph Marie's Abby Zwall was fourth and Nazareth took the next two spots with Taylor Neals and Anna Featherstone taking fifth and sixth. Nazareth Academy scored 53 points to edge out Country Day of the Sacred Heart by five points. 2015 champions Villa Joseph Marie was third with 60 points.
