10. The state's top 6 3Ks in one weekend!
You can blow up the old 3000 meter rankings list after this past weekend.
The top six spots were taken over by performances from the weekend from three separate meets. At Penn State for the Kevin Dare Invitational, we saw an open field and a race won by Gonzaga (DC)'s Harry Monroe, but Coatesville's Colin Mihalak, Hershey's Andrew Sulliivan, and South Fayette's Aaron Pfeil all posted strong times.
At Edinboro University for the TSTCA meet, Butler's Noah Beveridge ran 9:04, a PA#3 to take the win.
Then at Haverford College, Neshaminy's Rusty Kujdych and LaSalle's Evan Addison put down the first sub-9 3Ks of the season. Kujdych took the win in 8:44, while Addison ran 8:46 to place second. It's just the start of what should be a wild season and fast times in the boys' longest distance race.
