10 Best Individual Performances At The Indoor State Meet

10. Josh Hoey (Bishop Shanahan)

The junior won the 800 meters and provided a key leg on his team's winning 4x4

Josh Hoey has enjoyed quite the first track season in a Bishop Shanahan uniform. Hoey opted to run the 800 meters fresh at Saturday's indoor state meet and that move paid off. Hoey came from behind to beat Carlisle's Noah Affolder (who was already on his third event of the day). Hoey clocked a PA#1 of 1:52.21 for the win, which was also his first career individual state title.

Hoey then came back later in the meet to help his Shanahan team's 4x400. Running the third leg, Hoey made up some big ground on the field and handed off to open 400 state champ Nate Alleyne in the lead. From there, Alleyne brought it home.
