Twin Valley Invitational - Meet Preview

Downigntown East's Jeremy Jennings will look to have a big day in the sprints. He's the heavy favorite in the 200 meters. He may also be looking to help his Downingtown East squad to a fast time in the 4x100 meter relay.

Manheim Central's Cole Sunderland will be the one to watch in the distance events. Governor Mifflin's Alexander Ermold will look to challenge him in the 1600 meters, but Sunderland is the top seed in both the 1600 and 800. On the girls' side, Twin Valley's Kayla Gillen, fresh off a big win at Jim Kelly, will look to keep it rolling on Saturday at her home invite. Gillen cleared 5-6 to beat CB South's Valerie Przekop and now ranks tied for PA#1.

Souderton's Cara Jackson is the one to watch in the sprints. Jackson is favored to win the 100 and 200 meters. In the 100 hurdles and the 300 hurdles, Manheim Central's Billie Jo Bollinger is the top seed for both.

Souderton's Emily Bonaventure is the favorite in the 1600 meters. She'll return in what should be a competitive 800 meters, which includes Downingtown East's Caroline Roumpz and Lexi VanBlunk and Delco Christian's Maggie Linton

In the pole vault, Manheim Central's Carley Sheppard will look for a strong effort, while the Hill School's Rachel Schaaf is the top seed in the triple jump.
