AA Boys' 4x400m Relay Preview
Lakeland has a two-year stranglehold on the top spot in AA in the 4x400, but can they pull it out for a third straight year? They come in seeded 14th, however, in a talented field. Can they put the pieces together for another run at it?
Wyomissing Area looks to be the strongest quartet headed into the state meet. They went 3:22.90 for the top AA time of the season back at their home invite. They followed that up with a District 3 title and will enter this weekend as the top seed.
The battle for the WPIAL title was very competitive and many of the teams that made it out of the district will be factors this weekend. Avonworth/Northgate won the title in 3:25.86, but Riverside wasn't far off. Derry Area and Quaker Valley should also be in the mix.
Don't count out District 4's Danville Area and Southern Columbia. They were victims of an crazy power failure that forced a re-run of a the 4x4 at their district meet. With fresher legs, what kind of times can they drop at the state meet?
