Bill Coren's Paul Short Run - Girls' Preview
TEAMS!!!! 38 teams(10 on each team) will be lining up on this Friday at 3:45 to compete in the annual Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University. Some teams(especially the District 1 teams) will be getting on the course to see how they might fare at Districts on 10-27. Others want to run against some pretty tough competition. Finally, others want to run, as well as watch some really strong college races.
CENTERVILLE(OHIO) is by far the meet favorite!! They return all 5 from last year's 3rd place finish! They are traveling very far and expect a victory! As for the other teams in the hunt, these teams will be battling for 2nd-OWEN J ROBERTS(8th 2016)-SPRINGFORD(4th 2016)-CONESTOGA(13th 2016)-GOVERNOR MIFFLIN-TATNALL(DE)-BAY SHORE(NY)-and UNION CATHOLIC(NY).
PREDICTION---Centerville wins easily!! OWEN J ROBERTS(perhaps District 1's top team) takes 2nd.
