Paul Short Run - HS White Race Recap
Jack Miller of Jenkintown controlled the race, pacing a nice-sized lead pack and came away with the win in the White Race on Friday.
Miller, in the midst of a very strong sophomore season that has included a second place finish at Mill Street and a third place finish at Hershey, ran a solid 15:48 to take the win.
Malvern Prep's Peter Borger placed second in a time of 15:52, dipping under 16 minutes for the first time in his career. Holy Cross's Andrew Healey also got under 16 minutes, running 15:54 for third. Sean Rahill of William Tennent was fourth in 15:55 and Ridley's Zack Forney rounded out the top five in 16:07.
New York's Monroe Woodbury took home the team title with 107 points, edging out fellow NY squad Cornwall (114 points). Mike Hannon of Monroe Woodbury was the team's leader, taking sixth.
