NTL Coaches Invitational - Meet Recap

Cowanesque Valley's Jules Jones individually won the girls' varsity race, running 20:05 this past weekend.

However, Troy girls dominated the scoring, winning the team title in 45 total points. Troy girls were led by senior Courtney Case, who placed seventh overall. The rest of Troy's scoring runners were immediately behind Case, almost all finishing within a second of one another. The Troy girls took 7th-11th place, running as a pack.

In the boys' race, Wyalusing Valley took the top two spots. Alex Patton earned the conference win in a time of 17:05. His teammate Kevin Heeman wasn't far behind, taking second in 17:08.

It wasn't enough to take the team title, though, as Northeast Bradford picked up the win with 72 points to Wyalusing Valley's 79 points. Leading the way or NE Bradford was Zak Smith, who was fourth in 17:25.

Neshaminy Invitational - Meet Recap

The Cheltenham girls went one, two overall at the Neshaminy Invite. MaryGrace Rittler ran 20:21 for first and her teammate, Janelle Williams took second in 20:36.

On the boys' side, Cheltenham's Jason Cornelison ran 16:33.9 to beat Ben Hoyer of Wissahickon on Saturday. The Central Bucks East boys dominated the race; their top five runners finishing the in the top ten overall.
