A super Triple Jump by Coatesville's Clarence Smith, setting a meet record with a jump of 46-00.75. Athlete of the meet John Thompson was 2nd with his 45-08 efford. Thompson equalled the 100 meet record with a time of 10.6 seconds. In the hurdles, specialist Michael Wray of Central ran a MR 13.9 in the Trials of the 110. Wray then ran 55.7 in the 400 Hurdles (what I personally imagine as the meanest event there is). Pennsbury sprinter Kervin Michaud won the 200 in 22.1, just .2 up on Bensalem's Lamonte Louis, and .3 on Louis' teammate Reggie carter. Louis did win the 400 in 49.6 seconds. Steve Kraus, William Tennent, take the 800 in 1:58.4. Central's Mike Syrnick continues his stellar senior campaign with a 4:02.4 1500 (simply add 17 seconds for a 1600 time). Council Rock-North's Buddy Davis gets a shot at the 5K, and rewards with a 15:34.5 time. Pennsbury sets a meet record in the 4x400 of 3:21.2.
