AT&T Hall Of Fame Coaches Invitational - Meet Preview
A few of Pennsylvania's best will head to the Armory in New York on Saturday for some big performances.
In the invitational mile, Friends' Central's Gabrielle Wilkinson will aim for a strong performance. She opened up with a US#1 in the 800 meters at Ursinus last weekend. A win on Saturday in the mile earns an automatic qualifier to the Millrose Games mile, so Wilkinson will be shooting for that.
The Hoeys of Bishop Shanahan will look for big races in the boys' invitational mile. Josh Hoey is the defending champion in this race. The senior and Oregon recruit will also be looking for that Millrose qualifier. He went 4:17.63 last year. His younger brother Jonah Hoey is also entered. Rick Zink of Shanahan is entered in the 500 meters.
Sophie Doman of Palisades is entered in the invitational 3,000 meters, looking to take over the state lead after running a PA#2 10:49 last weekend.
