AA Girls' 4x100m Relay Preview
The 4x100-meter relay always produces some great excitement and Saturday will bring just that in AA. Athens Area comes in as the top seed after a 48.42 for the District 4 title, a time that would be enough to win the state title. They'll look to replicate that next week.
Neumann Goretti missed qualifying for states last year in the 4x1, so we'll see a motivated Saints squad this season. Expect NG to be in this race with its abundance of sprint depth. District 10 boasts a pair of strong squads. Lakeview edged out Hickory for the D10 title this past week. Both teams will be ones to watch at Ship. Hickory are the defending champions in the AA 4x1.
Paul Robeson, Loyalsock Township, and Science Leadership Academy at Beeber will be among the other teams with hopes of high finishes in this relay.
A number of the teams in the hunt for the team title expect to be in the mix for the win here, so the points will be crucial and it adds another interesting wrinkle to what should be a close race.
