Two great meets are still happening in 2006, but there are some changes...

The Viking Invitational, sponsored by Archbishop Wood, is run in Tamanend Park in Bucks County. It a fun course, and there are usually some great teams. It\'s still the first Friday of the season, but this year, everything has been moved up a bit. Check the schedule, and give them a shout if you\'re looking for a meet that weekend.

The other meet making some changes for 2006 is the Cliff Robbins Sr. Invitational in Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre. It\'s a very cool course, and despite the heavy July rains and the town\'s proximity to a river, it\'s still happening. However, because ALL the July 4th activities set for Wilkes-Barre were postponded because of the recent flooding, many of the events have been rescheduled for August, and, of course, the first weekend of September. Ironically, it\'s a Beach Boys concert that is taking Kirby Park on the day that the Cliff Robbins normally occupies...so for this year, the meet managers have moved it back one week, to Saturday, September 9th.
