The Cardinal O\'Hara boys took 1st and 2nd places in the Varsity race this morning, but Coatesville prevailed 53-61 at the Abington Invitational XC Meet behind Shane Synders 4th place effort. O\'Haras\' Steve Hallinan cruised to a 48 second victory (15:40.03) over teammate Greg Thomas (16:28.40). In capturing the team title Coatesville went 4-7-10-11-21 to Cardinal O\'Hara 1-2-5-26-27. Gwynedd-Mercy took 1st behind Katie Vernon\'s 18:53.
