Sunday -- May 6, 2007

Day Mileage:  15 miles

Details:  It's always nice to have some running partners!  I ran with Ueli and H.P. today…they are trying to help me with my form.  I rotate my upper body too much so they are trying to constantly remind me on runs to keep my energy going forwards instead of side to side!

Mileage
I have kept my mileage between 50 and 65 miles for 10 weeks now and am feeling good.  I am hoping to jack my mileage up into the 70s and 80s once I have a bit of a break from school and feel really strong again!  I had mentioned it at the beginning of my build-up (that I was going to just run steady mileage and try to stay healthy) and it has worked.  My body has really adapted well and I plan to push the mileage up in the summer.  My goal this year is to be able to run the whole year without any two-week holes in my training!  (Unless it's because I'm taking a break!)  I am really careful… sometimes I think I am being TOO careful and that I have to take more of a risk in training.  But my workouts are getting better and better and I've been feeling really good on my 15-mile long runs so whatever it is I'm doing, it's working…
