Training:  50 minutes

Strength:  Abs

Day Mileage:  7 miles

Week Total:  7 miles

Weather: warm, cloudy

Details: Today I had to take it easy because I felt yesterday's long run.  It was slow, but it was still almost 2 hours so I wanted to make sure my body recovered.

 

Tuesday – May 22, 2007


Training:  40 minutes

Day Mileage:  6 miles

Week Total:  13 miles

Details:  Crazy, crazy day with packing and getting ready for Eve's wedding and handing in all my stuff for school.

 
 

Wednesday – May 23, 2007

Training:  20 minutes warm up, 8x400 with 200 fast-paced jog (between 6 and 6:40 pace) 30 minutes cool down

Strength:  Striders, abc drills

Day Mileage:  10 miles

Week Total:  23 miles

Weather:  windy, warm 70

Details:  Worked out with the boys, but they dropped me.

 

Thursday May 24-Wednesday May 30

Went to the USA for my little sister's wedding…  I was the maid of honor so I had my duties to tend to. PLUS, I only make it home once a year so I decided to enjoy the time with my family instead of killing myself trying to squeeze everything in.  Plus the jet lag and traveling is sooo tiring.  I flew into Newark and then had to drive another 3 hours home so leaving Switzerland and then driving home, I had been traveling for about 19 hours straight with no sleep…I know my little sister is only going to be married ONCE so it was worth taking a short break from running.  Now back to it!!!
