10/30-Suber gives verbal to West Virginia for Football

Two-time PA Shot Put Champ, and Indoor Champs meet record holder, Tyree Suber of Glen Mills, has given a verbal commitment to West Virginia University to play football. He won't be competing in T&F, because the men's program was eliminated last year. Suber won the 2003 PTFCA State Championships in the Shot Put with a meet record toss of 63-4.25. In the spring campaign, he won both the Penn Relays and the PIAA AAA State Championships, to go along with a 5th place finish at the adidas Outdoor Championships in Raleigh.
