With snow and cold outside, PA juniors Chanel Brissett of Cheltenham, and Jordan Geist of Knoch, set and re-set state records in their specialities.
Chanel Brissett of Cheltenham shattered the PA indoor state record in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.28 at the Kevin Dare Invitational. Her time betters former Cheltenham teammate Ciara Leonard's previous record by .11 seconds. The mark also ties US#1.
For an encore, Brissett ran a PA#3 for the win in the 200m with a time of 24.65.
Meanwhile at the Youngstown State, Ohio HS invitational, Jordan Geist continued his assault on the 70' mark, coming within a mere half inch at 69-11.50. He bettered his own state record set earlier this season. The throw remains US#9 all time and current US#1.
