The 7 Best Individual Performances From Indoor States

6. Jordan Geist (Knoch): 1st Place - Shot Put

2015-16 has been nothing short of prolific for Knoch's Jordan Geist. The shot putter broke Ryan Whiting's state record back on January 9. Since then, he's been breaking and re-breaking, and re-breaking (you see where this is going) his own state shot put record. He fell a little short of his own state record on Sunday, but 71-3.25, his winning throw at states, is still a state meet record by about two and a half feet. Did we mention he's only a junior? Who know what the future holds for Geist, but surely, it must include more 70+ throws.
